Claire originally joined The Rise Trust as a volunteer mentor to senior school children and then assisted in running a parent and toddler group. On retiring from her role as a chartered accountant in practice she was able to commit more time to The Rise Trust and took on the role of finance trustee and more latterly the chair of trustees.
The kindness and compassion of all connected to The Rise Trust drew her to the charity and she is very proud of all it has achieved.
Eve Cale has been a Trustee with RISE since 2021 and has had the role of secretary since 2023. Her awareness of RISE began as a parent when she accessed the Children’s Centres facilities. Now her children are older, volunteering for RISE as a Trustee has given her the opportunity to give back and support the local community.
