Main Purpose
The RISE Trust Advisory Board is currently being reviewed with an aim of re-establishing this in Autumn 2024.
It will then be a key component of The RISE Trust’s commitment to multi-agency in order to provide:
- The best start in life for every child
- Better opportunities for children and families
- Stronger and safer communities
- Improving outcomes for children and families
The core purpose of the Advisory Board is:
- To provide updates and information about The RISE Trust provisions and services
- To ensure that The RISE Trust works in partnership with organisations and agencies in order to provide high quality services and support for children and families
- To play an active role in driving up improvement within The Trust
The Advisory Board should work to improve the well-being of children in the following areas:
- Physical and mental health and emotional well-being
- Protection from harm and neglect
- Social and economic well-being
- Education, training and recreation
- The contribution they make to society.
Our Advisory Board will meet twice a year and open to any member of our local community, including young people as well as any professional body interested in contributing to improving the well-being of children and families as outlined above.
