Volunteering Vacancies

CONTACT CENTRE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Our Supported Contact Centre runs on the first and third Saturday of the month at The RISE Trust Community Hub @ The Oaks.

Our Families Together Contact Centre is a safe,  friendly and neutral place where children of separated families can spend time with one or both parents, and sometimes other family members. It is a child-centred environment that puts the needs of the children first.

Volunteers arrive about 10.30am and the session will be finished by 1.30pm. Further information on the role can be found here – Contact Centre Role May 24

MENTOR ME VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Our volunteer mentors go into school on a weekly basis to work one-to-one with primary aged children. Mentoring sessions are relaxed and informal and the mentor acts as a listening ear, a sounding board and because of the consistency and continuity they offer, over time, they become a trusted friend and are there to support when worries are shared. We are currently looking for mentors to volunteer in Corsham and Melksham

The role can be found here – Mentor Me Role Description
